From candid moments to nature’s beauty: Sony SAB artists reveal their photography favourites on World Photography Day

Photography has a way of turning everyday moments into memories that can be revisited years later. Whether it is a candid moment on set, the beauty of nature, or simply something that catches the eye, a photograph allows us to hold on to a feeling long after the moment has passed. Marking World Photography Day, Sony SAB artists Iqbal Khan, Muskaan Bamne, Arjun Punjj, Deeksha Joshi and Nitin Babu share what they enjoy capturing through their cameras and the stories behind their love for photography.

From carrying a camera wherever they go to finding beauty in nature and capturing it, the artists reveal how photography has become their personal way of preserving memories.

Iqbal Khan who essays the role of Dr Dev Mehta in Yaadein shared “I almost always have a camera with me, especially when I am on set. I genuinely enjoy clicking pictures of the people around me because there are so many candid moments that you do not want to forget. Sometimes the best pictures are the ones you take when people are not posing and are simply being themselves. For me, photography is a fun way of capturing those little moments and memories from our everyday lives.”

Muskaan Bamne who essays the role of Shanaya in Pushpa Impossible shared, “I am always drawn to nature when I have a camera in my hand. I love clicking pictures of the sky, trees, flowers, and especially the moon. I can spend a lot of time just looking at the sky and trying to capture it from different angles. It is something I find very calming and I love having those little moments saved in my phone.”

Arjun Punjj who essays the role of Diggy in Yaadein shared, “In my family I am definitely the one everyone calls when they want a good picture. I love finding the right frame and often end up clicking pictures of everyone around me. The funny part is that because I am usually behind the camera, I end up being missing from most of the pictures myself! But honestly, I enjoy being the person who captures the memories and I think every frame has its own little story. The best part is capturing these moments with my wife and kids.”

Deeksha Joshi who essays the role of Deepti in Pushpa Impossible shared, “I really enjoy portrait photography, especially when I’m travelling through rural parts of India. I love capturing different faces because every person has something unique about them. There is so much character and emotion in those faces and I enjoy trying to capture that through my photographs.”

Nitin Babu who essays the role of Chirag in Pushpa Impossible shared, “I love capturing the beauty I find in unexpected moments, whether it is nature in its quietest form, animals caught mid-motion, or little moments that happen naturally. Some of the best photographs are the ones you do not plan for, because they capture a story exactly as it unfolds.”
