Zakir Khan shares the changing and evolving scenario in Indian Comedy and how different aspects of it affects the way a comedian’s perspective varies. Here is what he has to say, “If you take a look at two of the most successful comedians in the country, Biswa Kalyanrath and Kanan Gill, the former has a completely different meter than the later. Their style is so different from each other. If you see every the comedian has had their own upbringing. Everyone incorporates their experiences in their set. So, that plays a very important part in determining how their style evolves over the years. At the
same time, the people they’ve grown up watching also somehow influence them. These variations of style and content are very important for comedy to grow. It will keep evolving with new people entering the comedy scene as they bring new styles.”
