In a heart-warming gesture, Urvashi Rautela visits Ashray Orphanage, encourages children to follow their dreams and believe in themselves

After ringing in her 26th birthday with a lavish getaway to the Maldives which was a surprise from her dad,actress Urvashi Rautela headed to Ashray Foundation,an orphanage for kids to celebrate and spend time with them. The actress’s brother shared videos and photos of his sister talking to the kids on his stories.
She met the underprivileged children and encouraged them to always be confident and never be afraid to speak up.
She also appreciated them as they treat everyone as equal irrespective of the gender, age and any other differences.

Urvashi, who has been an active philanthropist and has her foundation called the Urvashi Rautela foundation in Uttarakhand is known for supporting social causes and issues. The actress has helped in creating awareness around a wide range of social issues such as environment, health and education and expresses her opinion particularly on gender equality.

Recently the actress was a part of the UNICEF led initiative Comics for Change, where celebs across the industry came together to raise awareness about Sustainable Development Goals. The actress is keen on joining UNICEF in the near future to support the organisations causes and ideas.
