A Season-First Takhta Palat, New Power Players and a Red Room Twist Turn Up the Drama on Rise and Fall Season 2

A Season-First Takhta Palat, New Power Players and a Red Room Twist Turn Up the Drama on Rise and Fall Season 2

In the Tower, power is fleeting, loyalty is negotiable, and one wrong move can turn an ally into an adversary! After days of grit and grind in the Basement, the Workers finally have their moment in the sun, pulling off the season’s first Takhta Palat and turning the Tower’s power equation on its head! Despite a heated exchange between Jashwanth and Gautam during the Printing Press Challenge, the Workers keep their eyes on the prize, getting 66 pamphlets approved to seal a sensational victory. The once-powerless Workers now claim the Penthouse as the new Rulers, while all former Rulers, barring Ultimate Ruler Niharika Tiwari, are sent downstairs. Talk about a royal switch-up! And in a twist no one saw coming, the dethroned Rulers discover that the Basement isn’t quite the nightmare they made it out to be. Niharika, meanwhile, wastes no time revealing who was disliked in the Tower, while Manish, Jashwanth and Rishabh begin cooking up an alliance of their own. The Takhta Palat may be done, but the plot has only just begun!

With the Tower’s hierarchy turned upside down, the drama soon moves from power struggles to personal spats. Shehzad and Swara discuss Irina’s temperament, setting off another confrontation, while Karan and Swara remind Irina that everyone has the right to express themselves. And just when the Tower needs a fresh dose of drama, actress Dipali Sharma from Duniya Ki Thain Thain walks in with a tale of love, obsession and betrayal. The Rulers must name the person they believe could betray them, and the answers make for quite the trust-deficit tally: Gautam names Priyanka and Jashwanth; Jashwanth names Sonam; Sonam names Manish; Manish names Sonam; Priyanka names Gautam; Niharika names Rishabh; and Rishabh names Niharika. In this Tower, trust is the biggest sauda and dhoka comes cheap — and nobody seems keen to offer anyone a loyalty discount!

But even in a house brimming with kalesh, competition and calculated moves, some moments hit straight in the feels. Shehzad’s birthday brings a letter from his family, a cake for the Rulers and a special pastry for Priyanka. Yet it is his video call with his mother that truly steals the spotlight. Their heartfelt conversation leaves Shehzad emotional and soon has the housemates teary-eyed too, proving that even amid the Tower’s endless tussles, a little love from home can melt the toughest guards. The emotional pause is short-lived, though, as Gautam sets out to build his very own Gautam City, hoping to bring Jashwanth and Rishabh into his fold. Will his dream alliance take shape, or will the Tower’s shifting loyalties bring his plans crashing down?

As Week 4 rolls in, there is no respite: everyone is nominated for elimination, and the Lift announces the end of Niharika’s tenure as Ultimate Ruler. With the throne back up for grabs, the Rulers must name who they believe is least capable of claiming the crown. Sonam, Gautam and Priyanka come under fire, but it is Sonam who ultimately gets knocked out of the race. And just when the Tower seems to have exhausted its quota of twists, the Red Room opens for the first time since the Takhta Palat! Enter a chess-inspired game where one decisive move could spell checkmate for a contender. The first pair, Manisha and Jashwanth, must choose between Niharika and Rishabh to decide who is unfit to rule. With the game turning into a battle of strategy and nerve, who will be checkmated, and who will live to fight another day for the Ultimate Ruler’s throne?
