COLORS’ artists share their festive thoughts on Navratri

Aditi Sharma, who plays Preeti in ‘Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar’, says, “Navratri is a celebration of shakti – the strength within us to overcome our fears, embrace change and find the courage to choose ourselves. Light and love are the virtues of this festival. And I believe some people enter our lives like a ray of light, turning everything we thought we knew upside down and making us see life in a whole new way. In Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar, Aarav becomes that light for Preeti. He walks into her life when she least expects it and makes her question everything she has known about love, while discovering the joy of choosing herself and the courage to rise in love. What makes their journey special is that it’s not just about falling for someone but also finding yourself in the process. And that, to me, beautifully echoes the spirit of Navratri – the power of a woman who discovers her strength, listens to her heart and dares to break free from the boundaries society sets for her. This Navratri, I hope we celebrate the people who bring light into our lives, and demonstrate to us that sometimes, one person can change not just how we see the world, but what we believe is possible for ourselves. Here’s wishing everyone a very Happy Navratri!”

Ramneek Kataria, who plays Sangam in ‘Bareilly Ke Bacchan’, says, “Navratri is a celebration of strength, faith and new beginnings. I feel its true spirit lies in having the courage to embrace change and face every challenge with a positive attitude. I love how this festival unites people through its traditions, devotion and infectious festive energy. In Bareilly Ke Bacchan, my character Sangam is the one who brings the Bacchans together despite finding herself in a household of eccentric men who are not quite used to having a woman around! Her journey of navigating this unusual family dynamic, winning their hearts and finding her own place in the jugaadu Bacchan abode is packed with its share of challenges and entertaining moments. In many ways, it is a reminder that patience, understanding and a little determination can help us overcome even the most unexpected situations. This Navratri, may we all find the strength to embrace change, the wisdom to bring people closer and the determination to turn challenges into new opportunities. I wish everyone a very Happy Navratri filled with happiness, positivity and Maa Durga’s blessings!”

Disha Parmar, in ‘Dhamaal With Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’, says, “Navratri has always been a special time of the year, but for Rahul and me, it has become even more meaningful since our daughter Navya was born. Every festival is an opportunity for us to introduce her to our rituals, customs and traditions, and help her understand the beautiful stories and values behind them. Navratri, in particular, celebrates the power of feminine energy, strength and the many forms of the Goddess, and as parents to a little girl, there is something special about sharing that spirit with her and hoping she grows up knowing her own strength. At the same time, festivals are all about togetherness, laughter and making memories with the people who matter. This year, Rahul and I get to celebrate Navratri with our extended family on Dhamaal with Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check. It’s lovely to see how every couple brings their own quirks, nok-jhoks and love languages to a show that’s about finding joy in the little things and standing by each other through the pangas of life. This Navratri, I hope every home is filled with love and laughter, and the show’s team is delighted that it can bring a little more of both into people’s lives.”
