COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’: Gaurav Khanna makes a shocking comeback this weekend!

One of the biggest stars of Indian television is officially back in the ultimate arena of fear! After a devastating injury forced him out of Darr Ka Naya Daur, Gaurav Khanna returns to take care of unfinished business on COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.

Gaurav’s initial run was heroic right from surviving a brutal rubber bullet endurance test that left his back heavily bruised to conquering mid-air hanging poles, where he proved his grit at every turn. However, due to a pre-existing injury, he was forced to abort a stunt against competitors Shagun Sharma and Rubina; and a battered Gaurav bowed out of the show with the support of host Rohit Shetty. But you cannot keep a true champion down! A thrilling new promo has sent shockwaves through the fandom, confirming that Gaurav is officially back on the show. Will his mental fortitude override his physical limitations to take him all the way to the finale?

Talking about his re-entry on the show, Gaurav Khanna says, “After the elimination, my heart sank at the thought of my journey ending there, especially when I felt I hadn’t been able to show the audience what I could really do. I came into this show wanting to push myself and prove to myself that I could go beyond my own limits. So when I got injured, all I could think about was not wanting to leave the journey this way. I owe a lot to my fans who have stood by me through my ups and downs, and their love gave me the motivation to come back. I took pain-relief injections and pushed myself for one more round, without knowing how my injury or my body would respond to the medication. Honestly, I still don’t know how my elbow will be in the future, but at that point, I just wanted to give whatever was left in me after the injury and be back for my viewers. I don’t give up easily, in the show or in life, and my competitive side just wanted another chance to fight. For me, failure or success has never been the only question. Whenever I take something up, I give it my 1000 percent. I’m here to conquer my fears and give this journey everything I have, for the fans whose love brought me back.”
