Iqbal Khan turns every day on the sets of Sony SAB’s Yaadein into a treat as he brings food for everyone to share

Sony SAB’s Yaadein continues to entertain audiences with its unique mix of humour and intriguing medical mysteries. Off-screen, the cast and crew share a warm bond and one of the easiest ways they come together is over food. Iqbal Khan often brings treats for everyone on set, making sure there is always something to share and enjoy between shots.

Known for frequently bringing treats for his co-stars and crew, Iqbal has turned sharing food into one of the little things that keeps the Yaadein set connected. Whether it is something sweet, a favourite snack or something new he wants the team to try, his thoughtful surprises often turn into impromptu gatherings between shots. For Iqbal, it is less about the food and more about sitting together, sharing a bite and enjoying a few relaxed moments with the people he works with every day, adding a warm and personal touch to the camaraderie off-screen.

Speaking about Iqbal’s gesture Gulki Joshi who essays Dr Srishty, shared, “I’m a complete foodie and Iqbal knows exactly how to get me excited! He’ll come with something and say, ‘You should try this,’ and obviously, I can’t say no. I’ll always end up trying it. Whether it’s something sweet, namkeen or something new he wants us to try, these little surprises often turn into fun food breaks between shots. What I really appreciate is that he never makes it feel like a big gesture; it is just his way of making people around him feel comfortable and included.”

Chhavi Pandey, who plays Dr Preeti, shares, “There is a lot of teasing and masti whenever we are all together and food just becomes another reason to sit and spend time with each other. We eat together, joke around and have a lot of fun between shots. These small moments make it very easy to bond with everyone on set.”

Devish Ahuja who plays Dr Raunak, adds, “Iqbal sir doesn’t really let anyone follow their diet on set. Somehow, every day becomes a cheat day when he brings something. He’ll make sure everyone eats and before you know it, the entire cast is sitting together and enjoying the food. He has definitely become everyone’s favourite on set.”

Tune in to watch Yaadein Monday to Saturday at 8 PM on Sony SAB
