“Sometimes the hardest battles are the ones you fight within yourself,” says Iqbal Khan on Sony SAB’s Yaadein

Sony SAB’s Yaadein continues to entertain viewers with its perfect blend of warmth, humor, heartfelt moments and drama. As Dr Dev Mehta (Iqbal Khan) and Dr Srishty (Gulki Joshi) continue to be tangled, a young child and his family shake their lives.
In the upcoming episodes, patient Dhruv’s condition takes a serious turn after he is diagnosed with a rare medical condition that requires an urgent stem cell donor. As Dr Dev and Dr Srishty desperately search for his biological family, they uncover a shocking truth that changes everything. Dr Dev is left stunned when he learns that Dhruv’s father is none other than Pralay Singh, the very man who had once shot him. As old questions resurface and the truth behind Raghav’s case slowly begins to unfold, Dr Dev is overwhelmed by the fear that he may have failed Raghav, and is determined not to let history repeat itself while trying to save Dhruv.

Talking about the upcoming track, Iqbal Khan shares, “What I really liked about this track is that it shows a very different side of Dr Dev. He is carrying the guilt of believing that he may have failed Raghav Singh, and that thought never really leaves him. When another member of the same family comes into his life, it brings back all those unanswered questions and self-doubt. His biggest fear is that if something happens again, he will never be able to forgive himself. As an actor, I found these emotions very real because sometimes the hardest battles are the ones you fight within yourself. I think viewers will really connect with Dr Dev’s journey as he tries to do everything he can to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.”
