Amit Trivedi Comes on Board The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj; Set to Compose Music for the Epic Historical

Pritam, who was originally composing the music for the film, recently announced a break from mainstream films. The makers have now brought Amit Trivedi on board to helm the music for Sandeep Singh’s ambitious two-part historical magnum opus.

In a major development, acclaimed composer Amit Trivedi has come on board The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to compose the music for the much-awaited historical magnum opus. With Rishab Shetty portraying Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the film has already generated tremendous buzz and is being mounted as one of the biggest Pan-India cinematic spectacles ever made on the legendary Maratha warrior.

According to sources close to the development, following Pritam’s public announcement that he is taking a break from mainstream films, the makers have brought Amit Trivedi on board to compose the music for the film. The project marks a significant first for the National Award-winning composer, as it will be his first Hindi Historical film based on the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. National Award-winning lyricist Prasoon Joshi, who has been associated with the project from the beginning, will continue to pen the lyrics, bringing together a powerful creative collaboration for this ambitious historical epic.

Directed by Sandeep Singh, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is being mounted on a massive budget and is envisioned as one of the biggest cinematic spectacles ever made on the legendary Maratha warrior. Planned as a two-part cinematic saga, the film stars Rishab Shetty in the titular role, alongside Arjun Rampal, Vivek Oberoi, and an ensemble cast.

The magnum opus is scheduled to go on floors later this year. With Amit Trivedi now helming the music and Prasoon Joshi penning the lyrics, the makers are confident that the soundtrack and background score will elevate the scale, emotion and grandeur of this landmark tribute to one of India’s greatest icons.
