Sara steps in as Anvita’s ‘saviour’ but with hidden motives in Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi

Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi continues to strike an emotional chord with its heartfelt storytelling as Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan) and Virat (Rajat Verma) step into a new phase of their relationship. After navigating personal struggles, misunderstandings and emotional upheavals, the much-awaited wedding of Anvita and Virat finally takes place, bringing moments of joy and new beginnings.

In the upcoming episodes, Sara (Bhumika Gurung) reaches out to Virat, pushing him to reveal their past to Anvita. When Anvita accidentally overhears that Sara and Virat were once in love, she chooses maturity over conflict and brushes it aside with grace. While Sara pretends to accept Anvita and Virat’s relationship, she quietly begins to play a deeper game. Sara begins to subtly weave her way into Anvita’s life by resolving crises, many of which she secretly creates, earning Anvita’s growing trust and admiration. Simultaneously, she plays the victim, claiming to be trapped in an unhappy marriage to gain Virat’s sympathy. When a crisis hits Virat’s business, Sara steps in as the saviour, leading Virat to join hands with her professionally. Blinded by trust and empathy, both Anvita and Virat fail to see Sara’s true intentions as she steadily takes control of their lives.

Will Sara succeed in creating a difference between Anvita and Virat or will Anvita uncover Sara’s dangerous game before it’s too late?

Sumbul Touqeer, who essays the role of Anvita, shares, “Anvita leads with her heart and that is both her greatest strength and her vulnerability. She believes in people and always chooses trust, which is what makes this track so compelling. What I find most fascinating is how quietly that trust begins to get tested, without her even realizing it. Sara’s entry brings in a subtle shift. Everything appears calm on the surface, but there is an undercurrent the audience can sense. There is a point where Anvita starts seeing Sara as someone dependable, almost like the one person who shows up when everything else falls apart.”

Tune in to watch Itti Si Khushi, every Monday to Saturday at 9 PM, only on Sony SAB
