Sony Entertainment Television’s much-loved format, India’s Best Dancer vs Super Dancer: Champion Ka Tashan is a high-stakes dance competition that pits two talented teams against each other, with Malaika Arora leading Team IBD and Geeta Kapur leading Team SD. Under the expert guidance of renowned choreographer Remo D’Souza, 12 exceptional dancers battle it out on this grand stage and this weekend at 7 PM, the show will welcome the legendary Yo Yo Honey Singh as a special guest to promote his new documentary, “Famous.”

The challenges for the upcoming episodes will come with a festive twist as Santa Claus makes a grand entrance, and Host Haarsh Limbachiyaa will pick a series of unique challenges from Santa’s bag of gifts that test the teams’ creativity, skill, and teamwork. In one round, Haarsh picked a picture of dance maestro Marzi Pestonji. Inspired by this, Remo announced the “Meri Marzi 2.0” challenge. The contestants had to start their performances with their prepared acts, but midway through, the song would be shuffled, and they would have to continue their performance with the new songs seamlessly.

After hearing about the challenge, Yo Yo Honey Singh interrupted and said, “I don’t believe in this button. I don’t trust that the shuffling of the songs is authentic. Give this to me and I will do it. You call the next performance, and I will change the song with my will. I want to check everything today.” Lord Remo agreed, and Honey Singh took over the shuffle button when Aniket from Team India’s Best Dancer came to perform. After Aniket’s performance, an impressed Honey Singh commented excitedly, “This was all happening in real-time! It was crazy. I was thinking of having fun by changing the songs. I thought he would stop or forget something, but he didn’t let go. I want to take this button home and use it for my parties.”

For the same challenge, Team Super Dancer nominated Sanchit. Keeping the battle going, team owners, Malaika and Geeta engaged in a small argument. Malaika commented, “Your style is very unique, and you danced to 3-4 songs. It was very good, but I felt that the transitions between songs were too long and had too many pauses. For me, this was disturbing because the transitions were not very smooth. Honestly, I’ve seen you dance better. Today’s performance wasn’t your best.” To this, Geeta quickly defended her team and said, “It’s her opinion, and I think the pauses were due to the music.”

This weekend, tune into Sony Entertainment Television at 7 PM to witness more unforgettable moments and find out which team will ultimately claim the title on India’s Best Dancer vs Super Dancer: Champion Ka Tashan!
