Raj Kundra Opens Up After Three Challenging Years: “I Trust the Judiciary Completely”

Amid relentless media speculation and accusations, Indian-British businessman Raj Kundra has held firm in his belief in truth and the power of the judiciary. Over the past three years, he has faced a whirlwind of controversies, including allegations of producing pornographic content and accusations of money laundering. However, Kundra has opted for silence over sensationalism, letting his actions and cooperation with authorities speak louder than words.

Kundra’s choice to remain silent has been intentional. Opening up about the scandals for the first time, he states, “Sometimes, silence is bliss.” While the media has often misunderstood this silence, Kundra clarifies, “If there was even one percent of truth in these speculations, I wouldn’t fight for it the way I have for three years.”

The accusations, particularly those regarding the production of pornographic content, have been especially hurtful. “I have never had anything to do with pornography,” he asserts. He elaborates on his involvement with a bold, A-rated app run by his brother-in-law, noting that while the content was intended for a mature audience, it never crossed into objectionable territory. “I was tried by the media without any evidence,” he laments, emphasizing the damage that unsubstantiated claims can cause.

Kundra believes the allegations, which have been baseless, may have been motivated by vendettas. Reflecting on the 63 days he spent in detention due to a money laundering case, he shares, “When you do business in this country, you make both friends and enemies.” He suspects a business rival might have fueled the allegations, and he has written to the CBI requesting a thorough investigation.

Throughout these challenges, Kundra has found unwavering support in his wife, actress Shilpa Shetty. “She has worked so hard to build her name, and it’s unfair that my controversies drag her into the spotlight,” he says.

As Kundra continues to fight these battles, his faith in the judiciary remains unshaken. “Facts will surface, and I have full faith in the system,” he says confidently. He is determined to clear his name, rebuild his reputation, and put these dark chapters behind him. “My silence has been taken advantage of, but I believe truth always prevails.”
