They have witnessed a fantastic transformation of these raw talents into polished performers under the guidance of the mentors Sachin-Jigar, Sachet Parampara, and Guru Randhawa. However, these young talents never cease to surprise the mentors as well as the audience with their sheer musical brilliance.
In the upcoming episode as well, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will see a heartwarming celebration of nostalgia and musical brilliance once again. What’s even more exciting is that veteran actress Jaya Prada will be seen as a special guest and during the shoot, she enthralled one and all with her anecdotes and shared experiences. However, it was contestant Maharishi Sanat Pandya who everyone’s hearts with his performances to Tujh Sang Preet and Patjhad Saawan Basant Bahaar. Deeply moved by his performance, Jaya Ji mentioned how Maharishi reminded her of Rishi Kapoor, her co-star in several iconic films, and their memories together. But, that’s not it! She also presented Maharishi with a rose as a heartfelt gesture and went on to say that she is his fan.
Jaya Prada said, “It was a wonderful performance, Maharishi. I was amazed by your confidence and I am truly your fan. You reminded me of Rishi Ji today. I miss him dearly, and it feels like he’s present on this stage through you.” She further added, “I’ve heard that you, just like Rishi ji, have a lot of female fans. I must say that Rishi ji was a phenomenal dancer, and matching his energy on screen was always a challenge. But seeing you today brought back all those cherished memories that I had, so thank you.”
Jaya also went on to share a few heartwarming moments that she shared with Rishi, but it was what she did next that surprised one and all. Jaya got contestant Parvathi to recreate her iconic look from the movie Sargam. Parvathi paid a touching tribute to the evergreen actress by performing Parbat Ke Us Paar and earning Jaya’s admiration. However, considering she felt Parvati could nail the Sargam look, she requested her to try the get-up and the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant aced it.
Jaya Prada said, “This look was my first shot in Sargam, a film that marked the beginning of my four-decade-long career in the industry.”
While Jaya Prada’s compliment left Maharshi extremely grateful and Parvathi’s look took Jaya down memory lane, don’t miss the unforgettable performances in the upcoming episodes, which will definitely keep you hooked.
