Behind-the-scenes entertainment with children on set: Child artists portraying Luv and Kush amuse during the shoot of Sony SAB’s ‘Shrimad Ramayan’

Sony SAB’s Shrimad Ramayan brings to life the legendary story of Lord Ram (Sujay Reu) and Sita (Prachi Bansal), captivating viewers with its rich narrative and heartfelt moments. Recently, the young characters Luv (Shourya Mandoriya) and Kush (Atharva Sharma) joined the story, arriving in Ayodhya for the Ashvamedha Yagya and finally meeting their hero, Lord Ram. The emotional storyline has left audiences moved, but there’s also a playful side behind the scenes that keeps everyone on the set on their toes.

Prachi Bansal, who essays the role of Sita, shared insights into her warm bond with her young co-stars, “I love spending time with Shourya and Atharva and enjoy every moment with them on set. I love hanging out with them and we can talk about anything and everything. They are so jovial and playful on the sets, especially Kush as he is extremely mischievous.”

Prachi recalled a funny moment when she had to hug and lift Kush in a scene, “When I picked Kush up for a scene, he put all his weight on me, and I ended up falling! Both these kids are at their playful best on the set, and we have a lot of cute, fun moments while shooting. These lively moments make my time shooting even more enjoyable.”

Sujay Reu, who essays the role of Lord Ram also chimed in with admiration for the young duo. “These days Shourya and Atharva are shooting a lot because their track is in focus. Despite that, their energy never goes down. Infact, their energy is infectious as they are always running here and there on sets. They are always smiling and ready to do anything. I have never seen them tired or in a sloppy mood. Especially Kush, he will never stay quiet. There’s never a dull moment on the set ever since they have come. The best part is they live in their own world, and they do their scenes without any complains. I have a great time shooting with them because they are innocent yet mischievous.”

Tune in to Sony SAB’s Shrimad Ramayan every Monday to Saturday at 7.30 PM
