Vandana Wagle plans a kabaddi match to defend her coach against dishonest allegations in Sony SAB’s ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’
Sony SAB’s ‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey’ follows the daily struggles and triumphs of the quintessential middle class, Wagle family. In recent episodes, Vandana (Pariva Pranati) is thrilled to reunite with her former Kabaddi coach, Thelma (Smita Sarvade). However, her joy is short-lived as she discovers that the academy and coach Thelma’s reputation has been tarnished by another coach, Durgesh Ajinkya (Amit Dhamija). Determined to restore her mentor’s pride, Vandana steps up to make things right.
In the upcoming episodes, Vandana is determined to help clear her mentor’s name of the allegation that she gave steroids to her students to enhance their performance. Having been her student in the past, Vandana is certain about coach Thelma’s strong ethics and morals and believes that she would never resort to such tactics. Gathering the women of Sai Darshan Society, Vandana convinces them to start training under coach Thelma, helping Thelma rebuild her confidence. To defend her mentor’s reputation, Vandana also challenges Ajinkya to hold a Kabaddi match, aiming to prove that Thelma’s students excel purely because of her exceptional coaching. However, things take a challenging turn as Vandana ends up with a sprained ankle at the last minute, rushing to make it to the match on time.
Will Vandana succeed and win the kabbadi match, or will Ajinkya resort to dirty tactics once again to prove Thelma wrong?
Pariva Pranati, who essays the role of Vandana Wagle, said, “There’s always a unique bond we share with teachers and coaches, and they leave a lasting impact on our lives. They shape us in ways we sometimes don’t even realize until years later. For Vandana, coach Thelma is one of those significant influences, and seeing her reputation unfairly tarnished brings out Vandana’s fierce resolve to help her clear her name. This storyline highlights how one must never forget those who help them grow and why it is important to stand by them when they need someone the most.”
