In his own words, Dino Morea expressed, “The decision to go clean-shaven again was because I hadn’t seen my face in three years.” This transformation came after his successful stints in various projects, including ‘Hostages’, ‘Tandav’ and ‘The Empire’, where his beard had become synonymous with his on-screen persona.

Dino’s beard had become iconic, particularly with his role in “The Empire,” where he portrayed a menacing and dangerous character. He reflected on this, saying, “People liked what they saw, and so work kept coming in. It became my signature look. The look created a buzz, especially with my role in ‘Empire’”.

Throughout his three-year bearded phase, Dino Morea managed to balance roles in Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi films. However, he has now embraced his new look with enthusiasm. He admitted, “I feel fine now in the new look. It takes a day or two to get used to it, but I like it. It’s always a decision a man has to take when it comes to keeping the beard or clean-shaving. Men always have these problems.”

Reflecting on his current look, Dino recalled his earlier days in the industry, saying, “It took them back to my ‘Raaz,’ ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi,’ and ‘Fight Club’ days when I was always clean-shaven.” This transition has reignited memories of his charming and youthful appearance.

Dino Morea emphasized that even without his beard, he is more than capable of taking on intense and menacing roles. He stated, “But a clean-shaven guy can also be menacing,” highlighting his versatility as an actor.
