“The numbers are increasing everyday for Devil Se Shaadi and I am just overwhelmed with all the positive feedback”: Prateik Chaudhary

Actor Prateik Chaudhary recently teamed up with popular actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan for an audio series ‘Devil Se Shaadi’ for Pocket FM. The series has received great feedback from the audience. In the series, Sumbul Touqeer takes on the role of ‘Ishqi’ — a young woman who finds herself caught in a whirlwind of unexpected events. Against her wishes, she is forced to tie the knot with Rajveer – a rude and arrogant person, played by Prateik. The series currently counts 2 million views on YouTube and 6.1 million on Facebook.

On this, Prateik says, “The numbers are increasing everyday for Devil Se Shaadi and I am just overwhelmed with all the positive feedback. This was my first attempt at something like this and I am very happy to be a part of this. As I have always mentioned, Sumbul is a very powerful actor and she has done exceptionally well in the series. My character Rajveer is someone who expresses with his eyes a lot, so I have taken a different approach for this role.”

Prateik also adds, “The amount of positive messages from the fans I am getting on daily basis only encourages me to work harder and believe in my craft. Fans have also asked me if I want to do something with Sumbul as we both look great together. My reply is to them why not! Sumbul is an extraordinary actress, I have witnessed that with my own eyes while working closely on set with her. I have also realized one thing — no genre is bad if that is being made with conviction and honesty. I am looking forward to doing more work like this where I can showcase my talent.”
