Genelia Deshmukh Changes The Narrative Around Workouts by Not Glamorizing Fitness
A favorite on social media, Genelia Deshmukh always keeps her feed fresh and interesting. Time and again, she keeps treating her fans to fitness videos and fun reels with her family. Today, the actress took to her Instagram story to share her special achievement of lifting 100 kgs weight at the gym!
However, what makes this video a tad above the rest from a lot of her contemporaries is the caption. She highlights the importance of keeping workouts real without glamourizing it too much as with that, the basic purpose of working out can get defeated. She used the tag #noglamorizingfitness to shatter the concept of making fitness a glamorous affair.
Genelia has successfully busted myths surrounding women, especially moms and their fitness, by going the extra mile. She encourages women to prioritize their personal health and fitness, however busy their schedules may be. She also eliminates misconceptions regarding the vegan diet, by lifting 100 kilos even after being vegan, which may be difficult but not impossible!
