ACTRESS UROOJ KHAN SHARES HER EXPERIENCE FROM THE SETS OF “INSPECTOR AVINASH” HER DEBUT WEB SHOW

Indo-Qatar actress Urooj Khan was seen in the latest web show “Inspector Avinash” along with renowned Bollywood actors like Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela.

Urooj was a budding actress looking for roles in Bollywood films and OTT shows her journey wasn’t easy to get the role of Inspector Mamta Kumari in the web show “Inspector Avinash”

As the actress lives in Qatar she had to travel to India for auditions during the period when coronavirus was rapidly spreading.

The director Neeraj Pathak of the show called her for an audition and after 2 months Urooj got a call, and guess what? She successfully bagged the role of Mamta Kumari.

But things weren’t that easy yet, as the coronavirus was still there, and because of that shoots were delayed, her co-actors were infected with the virus, and even Urooj herself during the shoot traveled to Nepal for some business work was infected with Covid-19

The Actress believes she learned a lot of things while working on the sets of “Inspector Avinash” All the senior actors like Randeep Hooda & Urvashi Rautela were good to work with the actress says
and her overall experience with the director Neeraj, and all the co-actors, with DOP Chiru da was delightful.
She learned discipline from Randeep Hooda as he was always on time for shoots, and very punctual in all manners, she also mentioned Randeep doesn’t make someone feel like he/she is a newcomer and doesn’t carry the name and fame he has along with him while working, basically a down-to-earth and humble person he is she believes.
Apart from discipline, she developed her acting skills with the co-actor Pravin Singh Sisodia as he taught her how we can make a scene look better, by acting in a certain way for a specific scene, even Randeep helped him when she was preparing for her role as it was a story from ’90s in UP.
For Urooj it was quite easier to understand the characters and speak in a certain UP dialect as she belongs to U.P.
Urooj can easily adapt to different accents, she believes it is an inborn talent she has.

Urooj says she resonates with the character of Mamta Kumari as she is similar to her in various aspects up to an extent.
Mamta Kumari is a dedicated Police sub-inspector who is dedicated to her work, is not scared of anyone, and is hardworking, the same goes for Urooj as she has a never give up attitude in real life.
