Ankeeta Londe not only impresses judge Sonali Bendre but also gets a pet name from her on India’s Best Dancer Season 3

Last weekend, viewers witnessed the beginning of a new era of dance as Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown format ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 3’ ushered in contestants from across the country to showcase their best moves in 90 seconds. Judges Sonali Bendre, Terence Lewis, and Geeta Kapur, the E.E.N.T (Entertainment, Emotion, Newness, and Technique) specialists were astounded by the performances of varied styles and will continue to be stupefied by the dancers in the upcoming weekend as they set the stage on fire.

Punechi Mulgi Ankeeta Londhe will impress the judges with her heartfelt contemporary and classical dance fusion on the song “Kanha Mane Na”. Sonali Bendre, who will be blown away by the contestant’s performance, will share, “Mala tuzha performance khup avadla!”

22-year-old Ankeeta left a computer engineering degree to pursue dancing. In her journey, Ankeeta’s mother was her biggest supporter who inspired her to pursue her ambition of being a dancer, but unfortunately, she lost her mother in the pandemic. Striving to fulfil her mother’s dream, Ankeeta continued to dance and worked hard to reach the stage of India’s Best Dancer Season 3.

Overwhelmed with emotions after hearing Ankeeta’s story, Judge Sonali Bendre will give her a tight hug saying “I’m very proud of you,”. She further added, “You’re taking responsibility of your family at such a young age, and you’re following your passion. Your mother, Manju Shah, will be overjoyed.”

On finding out that Ankeeta’s mother used to call her, “Pillu”, Sonali would surprise Ankeeta saying, “If you go ahead in the show, you will be my “Pillu”, “Manjuchi multitalented mulgi Pillu.”
