Mr Amitabh Bachchan reveals a yesteryear legend to be a clapper boy to contestant Prakash Jaisingh from Kolkata, West Bengal on Sony TV’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati- 14’

Sony Entertainment Television’s knowledge-based gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati-Season 14’ will be welcoming 42 year old Prakash Jaisingh from Kolkata, West Bengal on the hotseat on 21st November, Monday. Along with a great gameplay with Mr Amitabh Bachchan, the contestant will also be indulging in some brilliant conversations with the host, talking about his life in Kolkata amongst other things. An interesting tete-a-tete with Prakash will also entail an interesting trivia revealed by Mr Bachchan that would surprise the audience.

The episode would commence with a monologue by Mr Bachchan in which he would wish everyone a very happy World TV Day. According to a source close to set, Big B would be talking about clappers and clapper boys after Prakash Jaisingh would answer a question regarding the object used before commencing movies. Quoting the host, the source said, “Big B begins the conversation by talking about the workings of a clapper and how it comes handy on the editing table of a film and how it synchronises the visuals of a movie. Mr Bachchan also spoke about the contents written on a clapper, like the film’s name, the director’s name, the number of takes happening in a scene and more. In the end, revealing an interesting trivia about clappers, he said that many veterans of the Indian film industry, they began in movies by being clapper boys. The whole day, they would be assistants to the movie makers and their job entailed being a clapper boy. He surprised everyone when he revealed that Raj Kapoor saab was a clapper board boy.”
