ZEE5 teams up with stand-up comedian Harsh Gujral to promote ‘Tripling’ season 3, video out now!

~ The tripling trio – Sumeet Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo and Amol Parashar – who usually take a dig at each other in the series got roasted by Harsh Gujral off-screen ~

ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform, is home to some of the most loved and celebrated franchises on OTT platforms and one such franchise which just dropped its third season is Tripling. TVF show Tripling just dropped an exciting third season on ZEE5 and while the sibling trio are getting a lot of love from the fans for their chemistry and comic timing, they also got roasted on stand-up comedian Harsh Gujral’s recent live show in Mumbai.

Tripling, starring Sumeet Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo and Amol Parashar, is all about three siblings coming together for a road trip or an adventure every season and discovering themselves and rediscovering their chemistry while helping each other out of problematic situations every season. The show is widely loved by fans owing to the sibling comradery, banter and ‘nok-jhok’ as in most of the episodes, the siblings take a dig at each other like typical siblings. However, for a change, the trio were roasted by someone other than themselves at a live event recently!

The siblings attended Harsh Gujral’s recent live show in Mumbai and were called on-stage by the stand-up comedian who then did some roasting himself. Digging out nuances from season 3, comedian Harsh Gujral took witty jibes at the trio for their unusual but solid bond in the show. It was a great preview of the sibling camaraderie for the live audience who can get more of the trio on Tripling’s latest season which is receiving a lot of love and appreciation from fans and critics alike.

Harsh Gujral said, “It is fun when friends from the industry join me on-stage and give me a chance to roast them! But jokes apart, Sumeet, Maanvi and Amol were great sports, and I had a blast talking to them. They are super funny themselves and when you have such fun people to chat with, the show is bound to be one hell of a ride. I could sense the audience’s pulse in the room, and I can tell you that they too had a blast. I hope that this trio keep entertaining us with more such fun stuff on-screen and on-stage”.

Maanvi Gagroo said, “It was ZEE5’s idea to go surprise the audience at a live stand-up show and we just played along! But I am glad that we did this because I had forgotten what it’s like to take the centre-stage in front of a live audience and who better than Sumeet and Amol to do this with! We keep taking a dig at each other in our show Tripling and off-screen too and this time we had a fourth partner (Harsh Gujral) to play with. I had a blast doing this and I hope that the audiences had fun as well watching us on-stage and on-screen in Tripling S3 too”.
