2021 has been a year of taking charge of our lives and taking a step towards normalcy. While life only got tougher, entertainment kept us going! As India’s leading General Entertainment channel, COLORS has been living up to the ethos of delivering refreshing, wholesome and variety content in both fiction and non-fiction genres. Naye Saal Mein Nayi Shuruaat

Committed to presenting original, fresh, and even homegrown concepts for our viewers, COLORS has launched several riveting shows in 2021. Here is a look at the brand-new fiction ventures that have brought plenty of fun, romance, and drama on television. Soon after its big bang launch ‘Udaariyaan’ at the start of the year, the show went on to become one of the top-rated shows. COLORS further launched ‘Nima Denzongpa’ and ‘Thoda Sa Badal, Thoda Sa Paani’ strengthening its line-up with more impactful storylines. Towards the end of the year, a unique love saga ‘Sirf Tum’ was launched which marked the comeback of television’s heartthrob Vivian Dsena making viewers fall head over heels for him. Premiered in March this year, ‘Udaariyaan’ explores the journey of two sisters – Tejo (played by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary) and Jasmine (played by Isha Malvia). Set against the backdrop of Punjab, we witnessed the ambitions and twisted fate of Tejo and Jasmine who have opposing personalities and are willing to do anything to fulfil their dreams. The shows also feature Ankit Gupta in the leading role of ‘Fateh’, who is the love interest of the sisters. Quite recently, actor Karan V Grover joined the star cast as Angad and his entry raised the bar of anticipation even further.
