Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s popular show Rakshabandhan… Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal actors speak about what they love about the entertainment industry!

Farman Haider ( Samar)  – I would like to wish everyone a very Happy World Television Day. Television has become a part of our life. Television has a responsibility not only in entertaining people but using this medium of television In a positive way to teach people and enlighten people. You know if a person is sick, then the doctor also asks him to watch television because you have to keep your mind happy. I think I am blessed and also thankful to be a part of this industry. “Har saal hum isi tarah world television day  acche se manate rahe or logo ko haste rahe”

Soneer Vadhera ( Moong Singh) – I congratulate everyone on World Television Day. The two best things about TV are that those who are 80’s born like me, television was like a family member to us. When a new TV came to our house, we used to cover it properly. I remember that at times, only the shows used to come on Doordarshan and all the family members used to sit together and watch. We all used to wait for Ramayan on Sundays as well as Rangoli and Dekh Bhai Dekh. We all used to wait for Sundays to watch a film which also used to come in two parts. Television for us is an emotion and is a thing which everyone has in their houses in villages as well. There are so many people who even think that whether they would be able to go to the theatre to watch a film, but TV is such a thing where people think that they can watch the film on TV when it’s telecast. Television is like anytime entertainment. Now we have OTT platforms, but we have to subscribe and make apps for it like Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar etc. However, with TV, we just plug in the cable and we can watch TV for 24hrs. In rural areas as well we have television and we can easily reach up to them. The second best thing is that I have been known because of the television industry for the work that I have done in the last 15 years. For me, TV is best for me as it gave me recognition.

Yogendra Singh( Bhim Singh)  – 1. The best part about TV  is that you can watch it with your family. Also, it has given employment to lakhs of people directly or indirectly. and is  a new avenue for budding talents and wholesome entertainment

Ajay Sharma ( Ratan Singh)  – TV is one of the most important parts and is like a friend in our lives. It gives us joy, thrill, laughter, information, and so many other emotions through different contents respectively. Yet it never demands anything of us(apart from the time of course). During the lockdown when everyone was secluded and confined in their places, TV was the only constant source through which we felt some normalcy and regularity in our lives. Although it’s called an idiot box for some reason which isn’t deniable however it’s up to us to choose what to and what not to watch on it. To make the most of these devices as they say “a pen can create love and war both” the same applies to TV.

Sanchita Bannerjee (Phoolie)- We all know the best thing about Television is that it is an inescapable part of modern culture. We depend on TV for entertainment, news, education, culture, weather, sports—and even music. But what are the best points about the Television industry? So let me share my experience here. First, the Tv industry is very welcoming as there is no Nepotism here. This industry is open to everyone who aspires to become an actor, director, cinematographer, etc. Here the only things that matters are your talent and your behaviour. Secondly, TV industry is a very hard-working family. Like time and tide, even the TV industry is unstoppable. Be it heavy rains, cyclones, festivals, birthdays, or any other occasion, we people never stop with our work, which is to entertain the viewers. We always work hard together as a family, we enjoy each and every moment on the set, respect each other, support each other, help each other, and at the end of the week we all wait for the audience’s responses. The TV industry is a very small little family filled with lots of love, respect, and talent and I am proud to be a part of this Family!
