IMPPA DEMANDS SELF-REGULATION RIGHT FOR PRODUCERS

IMPPA president T.P. Aggarwal has written a letter to I & B minister Anurag Singh Thakur, requesting for the right of self-regulation for producers of feature films as well. While referring to a comment of the minister that the growth in the OTT sector was fuelled by allowing self-regulation in terms of content for the streaming platforms, IMPPA has said that instead of certification of films by the Central Board of Film Certification, film producers should be allowed self regulation too.
