Actor Suniel Shetty calls contestant ‘Apeksha Sukheja’ ‘Pure Hindustan ki Ladki’ post her jaw-dropping performance on the iconic song ‘Sheher ki Ladki’

This weekend episodes of Sony Entertainment Television’s immensely loved dance show India’s Best Dancer – Season 2 will welcome the iconic 90’s stars Karisma Kapoor and Suniel Shetty for a special episode. All the contestants will be seen performing on Karisma and Suniel’s chartbuster songs and will be paying a befitting tribute to the spectacular actors. Contestant Apeksha Sukheja and choreographer Sadhwi Majumder will be seen giving a phenomenal classical Bharatnatyam performance on the song “Sheher Ki Lakdi” and will project a beautiful bond through their dance. Their act will be a mixture of Bharatnatyam and udipi. Not only this, Apeksha’s father will be seen asking some interesting questions to Suniel Shetty about the films.

Complimenting Apeksha and Sadhwi’s performance, an awestruck Karisma Kapoor said, “It was a graceful performance and the way you both sunk into your act, it was very impressive”. Suniel Shetty too compliments their performance and says that “It was unbelievable visual, you are not sheher Ki Ladki but ‘Pure Hindustan Ki Ladki’. It was a beautiful act well-choreographed and well performed”.

Later on, Apeksha’s father comes on stage and asks Suniel Shetty about the action scenes that take place in movies and if they happen in real life too. Further enquiring, he mentions that in films, they show that the action heroes can bend rods and all too and if that is really possible in real life? To which, Suniel Shetty takes up the challenge and goes upto the stage to prove his point where, he actually takes it upon himself to bend an iron rod.

Receiving commendable comments Apeksha says, “I am really happy to get full scores second time in a row. Sadhwi did and I come from really different cultures, yet she moulds me so beautifully. I am so thankful to her. And performing in front of Karisma ma’am and Suneil Sir was a delight!”
