Pragya Kapoor’s Ek Saath Foundation joins hands with Hemkunt Foundation to lend support to Carter Beach Clean-Up
Producer and environmentalist Pragya Kapoor’s NGO Ek Saath Foundation has been at the helm of mobilizing the pro-environment movement in the country. In yet another stride towards the planet’s greater good, Ek Saath Foundation has now come together with Hemkunt Foundation to lend a helping hand to the Carter Beach Clean-Up drive in Mumbai. Starting 16th October, both the NGOs will be pooling in their energies into this citizen-led movement. Held every Saturday, 8:00 AM onwards, the drive aims to clean up the Carter Road beach.
Speaking about the clean-up drive, Pragya Kapoor, Co-Founder – Guy In The Sky Pictures, said, “We found synergy in Hemkunt Foundation’s cause towards the environment. This initiative is a collaborative brainchild to support the Carter Beach Cleanup initiative. We believe in leaving the planet better than we found it, a feat we will be able to achieve only when we come together in large numbers. We sincerely hope you join us for the clean-up drive and help us take a step towards a better tomorrow.”
Harteerath Singh, Director – Hemkunt Foundation said, “We can already see the effects of climate change around the world. We really need to come together to make this our priority in our daily lives. This is why Hemkunt Foundation and Pragya Kapoor are joining hands for weekly beach clean up drives to make the beaches of Mumbai clean and beautiful again!”
Known for their work on the environment front, Ek Saath Foundation’s vision remains to build an eco-friendly sustainable world collectively for the future of humankind and wildlife.
