Doorman is streaming now on @Amazonprimevideuk and in 63 countries. The film is written and directed by “Tere Bin Laden” fame Pradhuman Singh Mall starring British/African actor Tayo Oyekoya, Italian actress Joanna Finnata, Jitendra Rai, Tariq Khan and Rahat kazmi in mail roles.

After giving two back-to-back hits namely, Lines & Lihaaf, Director & Producer Rahat Kazmi is back with another promising film!
Rahat Kazmi, known for making theme-based films, garnered huge limelight after the success of his two feature films, which won the hearts of millions in the recently-held Voot Film Festival. This time, he’s again in news for his first international English feature film-Doorman, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
The film, which is set in the backdrop of world politics, has been showcased through the life of an illegal immigrant, his journey, struggle, family love, and so on! Giving all the credits to the Writer & Debutant Director of the film, Pradhuman Singh, Rahat Kazmi says, “One evening while we were having a discussion of making an international film, Pradhuman came up with this story of an African illegal immigrant living in the UK. While listening to the story of a doorman and his journey of getting united with his family staying in a refugee camp in Europe, etc, I felt a strong personal connection though I have never been in such a situation yet I felt personal on humanity grounds. With the help of my friend & a well-known actor, Jitendra Rai, who’s a citizen of the UK, we visioned the making of this film and planned accordingly.”
Adding to this, he further said, “Our love for cinema is not limited to a particular country or region. So, in line with this, the casting of the film has been done very wisely. People from all ethnicity have been picked up as per the demand of the script. The overall journey was quite adventurous and even the location was chosen spontaneously. We have huge expectations from the film especially because it’s being screened on one of the popular OTT platforms.
Produced under the banner of Rahat Kazmi Films, Tariq Khan Productions, and Zeba Sajid Films, the movie has been co-produced by Hiro’s Faar Better Films (Lines actress Hina Khan & Jayant Jaiswal), Jitendra Rai and Pradhuman Singh Mall.
