Aasiya Kazi reveals her Independence Day Ritual of her Family..!

Independence Day is celebrated with a lot of gusto in our countryand celebrities are no different. 15th August brings in an entire series of patriotic movie, songs and every Celebrity is seen sharing their love for the country. But when it comes to Tenali Rama actress Aasiya Kazi, the situation is a little different. She and her family have and follow a special and a different Independence Day Ritual.
Aasiya Kazi reveals, “Independence Day we kind of try to make it a little more special. When we were in school flag hoisting and parades we used to do and in my society as well we used to have flag hoisting followed by some events & games for children as well as the elders. But because the past two years, the time has been little difficult so no such activities are happening. But my family every year we make it special like hamare car mein hum flag every year change karte hain on Independence Day. And the old flag we keep it safely and don’t throw it away like this only. So, that much respect is what we give, our parents taught us and now we are teaching my brother’s kids the same. I see people buying flags and such small toys, etc. with our flag on it and then the next day they throw it away, you see the flags lying on the roads and streets, this really breaks my heart. Me and my family don’t like it and if we come across a flag lying away anywhere, we make sure to pick it up and keep it with respect. Also, another ritual is that the breakfast on Independence Day is special and different and we all sit together and have it. So, this is our little way of celebrating Independence Day. We have been following this ritual since many years, since our childhood.”
