Earlier this week, ZEE5 announced their next original film 200 – Halla Ho, starring Amol Palekar,
Barun Sobti, Rinku Rajguru, Sahil Khattar, Saloni Batra, Indraneil Sengupta, and Upendra Limay. Set
to premiere on ZEE5 in August, the makers have now released the teaser of the movie which is sure
to pique audience’s interest.
Without giving away a lot, the teaser sets the premise for the movie: how 200 Dalit women united
and took law and justice in their own hands by lynching a gangster/robber/serial rapist in open
court. Inspired by true events, this was the rarest of rare case in India’s justice system and the movie
goes on to uncover the shocking events and circumstances which led the 200 women to take such a
drastic step to seek justice.
ZEE5 shared the teaser on their social media platforms and wrote, “This August, witness 200 women
jolt the nation out of its indifference against India’s most notorious serial killer ever”.
