The eve of the 22nd Kargil Vijay Diwas was one to remember as Amazon Prime Video launched the trailer of the much-awaited Original movie Shershaah in Kargil. With it evoking emotions of patriotism amongst each Indian, the trailer has become the talk of the town within few hours of its release. So much so that celebs such as Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Badshah applauded the trailer on their social media accounts and praised the team of Shershaah for presenting the inspiring story of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). With all the love and appreciation pouring in from celebrities, critics and fans, there’s no prize for guessing that the trailer has really taken social media by storm.

Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, Shershaah is inspired by the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) and stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead along with Shiv Panditt, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar and Pawan Chopra in pivotal roles. Jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment, Shershaah will premiere across 240 countries and territories on 12th August 2021 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
