Hungama 2 producer Ratan Jain hails lead actor Meezaan for being a true professional for remaining undeterred by harsh weather conditions in Manali
After a brief hiatus due to the Covid-19 lockdown, early this month, the cast and crew of Hungama 2 flew to Manali to shoot the third schedule of the film. The first schedule of the film took place in Mumbai and the second, in Ooty. Starring Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan and Pranitha Subhash, the film is expected to offer unlimited confusion with a great dose of comedy to the audiences.
Hungama 2, which was shot in the picturesque locales of the hill station, wrapped up its schedule a few days back. It was a hard time for the unit to pull off the shoot amid extremely harsh weather conditions and the new normal. Braving difficult circumstances, lead actor Meezaan showed immense grit and dedication. Known to be a thorough professional, he made sure to reach the sets earlier than the call time.
Impressed by Meezaan’s punctuality, producer Ratan Jain of Venus Worldwide Entertainment says, “We had to shoot very carefully by adhering to all Covid-19 guidelines. What made the shoot even more difficult is the freezing cold weather in Manali. But Meezaan is a sincere and hard-working actor. He would reach the sets early in the morning and made sure that he did not keep anyone waiting. He is extremely disciplined and it is such a joy to work with a talented and committed actor like him.”
Venus Records and Tapes LLP, as a production house, took every safety precaution to keep all kinds of health hazards at bay. The cast and the crew had to undergo a swab test before reaching the sets. Sticking to the health protocol, the set was fully sanitised at regular intervals to ensure everyone’s safety. On the set, every individual’s health was monitored on a daily basis and social distancing norms were strictly adhered to.
Produced by Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain and directed by Priyadarshan, Hungama 2 also stars Johnny Lever, Tiku Talsania, Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Joshi and Rajpal Yadav.
