Four Ruler Pins, One Fortune Room and Rivalries Ready to Boil Over: Rise and Fall Season 2 Takes the Power Game Up a Notch

If the first game was about choosing who to trust, the Tower was now ready to test just how long those equations could survive. On MX Original Rise and Fall Season 2, with the Rulers and Workers gathered in the Penthouse, the buzzers were set and host Virender Sehwag walked in with more than a few surprises up his sleeve. First up was Niharika, who had already managed to make history of sorts by becoming the Basement’s richest Worker, as Sehwag teased her, and while Niharika and Kaira’s old rivalry seemed to have finally cooled off, could the same be said for Shehzad and Swara?

Sehwag wasted no time bringing their equation into the spotlight, calling out Shehzad for his social media exchanges with Swara and questioning why the conversation had gone quiet once they entered the Tower. Shehzad made it clear that he wasn’t one to back down, while Swara fired back with a simple reminder, “Chunaav nahi hai yeh game hai”. Old rivalry, new battleground but with the game now underway, how long before this kalesh starts affecting the power play inside the Tower?

Just as the tensions began simmering, Sehwag shifted the focus from rivalries to power. With the Rulers holding ₹31.5 lakh and the Workers ₹9.75 lakh, the money may have been locked, but the positions certainly weren’t. Only four permanent Ruler pins were up for grabs, putting the rest of the Penthouse on notice. Tej Pratap Yadav, Shehzad Poonawalla, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Swara Bhasker secured their pins but what about everyone else? In a game where one decision can send a contestant crashing from the Penthouse to the Basement.

And then came the twist that could change everything. Sehwag revealed a brand-new floor, the Fortune Room, giving the Workers their first real opportunity to rewrite the hierarchy. Announcing the twist, he said, “This season the tower is expanding,  jabhi mein ek naya floor mein aapke liye kholungi kuch log bolenege wow aur kuch not now… workers mein tower ka woh floor aap log ke liye kholne jaa rahu hu jo iss season jab bhi khulega taab sabki kismat badal dega .. for good and bad”.

One Worker could rise but whose fall would make that rise possible was a question.The answer began with Raj Grover, who won the buzzer race and instantly got the power to decide who would not even make it to the Fortune Room. Sara Gurpal and Anish Bhagat were knocked out of the race, but the real fireworks came when Siwet tried to sway Raj’s decision. Priyanka stepped in, the strategy quickly turned into a clash, and yet another rivalry began taking shape inside the Penthouse.

Raj eventually made it into the Fortune Room, and suddenly the Worker had the power to rewrite the Penthouse. With three Rulers in his crosshairs, who would he send tumbling down? Manish Kashyap was first. The decision immediately sparked a confrontation between the two, before Sehwag added his own cheeky twist, telling Manish, “Waise manish ji mein ek baar bata du, aap jail bhi hokar aaye ho usse behtar hai neeche ki basement toh aap chinta mat kijiye…”. Raj then chose Gautam Gulati and Kajal Raghwani, completing a move that turned his rise into three Rulers’ fall.

By the end of the game, the Tower had once again been rearranged, with Karan Patel, Tej Pratap Yadav, Shehzad Poonawalla, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Swara Bhasker, Siwet Tomar, Irina Rudakova  and Raj Grover as the Rulers, while Niharika Tiwari, Kaira Anu, Anish Bhagat, Sara Gurpal, Manish Kashyap, Gautam Gulati and Kajal Raghwani became the Workers. With Raj’s Fortune Room gamble shaking up the Penthouse, Siwet and Priyanka already locking horns and Manish entering the Basement with a new mantra, “Mazdoor hai majboor nahi”-  will these new Rulers find a way to hold on to power, or has the Tower already started laying the ground for the next fall?
