Kanan Malhotra joins Sonakshi Batra and Farman Haider starrer Zee TV’s Jagadhatri, says, “Aarav Patil’s entry will change a lot of things”

Zee TV’s Jagadhatri has been in the talk of the town since the new entry of Mimshee Das as SSP Jahnvee Ganguly. Once Jagadhatri (Sonakshi Batra) and Shivaay’s (Farman Haider) batchmate, she has now returned as their senior officer after taking over Sadhu Sir’s position. While she has a soft corner for Shivaay, she also harbours feelings of jealousy towards Jagadhatri. Ever since Jagadhatri killed Moosa, Jahnvee (Mishmee Das) has been convinced that Jagadhatri crossed the line by killing him instead of arresting him and has been determined to prove her guilty. In her attempt to remove Jagadhatri from her post, Jahnvee approached Minister Aarav Patil, urging him to take strict action against her.

However, things took an unexpected turn when Shivaay stood firmly by Jagadhatri. He presented Aarav Patil with Jagadhatri’s complete service record and evidence that highlighted her honesty, dedication, and exceptional track record as an officer. Convinced by the facts rather than assumptions, Aarav Patil refused to take action against Jagadhatri, leaving Jahnvee’s plan unsuccessful. While his decision has saved Jagadhatri for now, Aarav Patil’s entry has already created a major stir in the storyline and left viewers wondering what role he will play in the battle between Jagadhatri and Jahnvee.

Actor Kanan Malhotra, who has stepped into the role of the honest and principled Minister Aarav Patil, recently opened up about his character and the impact it will have on the story.
Kanan Malhotra said, “I’m thrilled to be joining Jagadhatri as Aarav Patil, a powerful and principled minister. What drew me to this character is his honesty and his strong commitment towards doing the right thing. Aarav believes in a corruption-free system and isn’t someone who takes decisions based on what others say. He believes in facts and always stands by the truth. That’s one of the reasons he supports Jagadhatri because he knows how sincere, fearless and dedicated she is towards her duty. What I also really liked about Jagadhatri is that it’s quite different from the usual television shows. The story is fast-paced, full of suspense and keeps you hooked with unexpected twists. That’s what made me even more excited to be a part of it. Aarav Patil’s entry is going to bring a big twist in the lives of Jagadhatri, Jahnvee and Shivaay.
