Sanskruti Balgude Calls Parshwanath Upadhye Her Greatest Inspiration, Dedicates Sambhavami Yuge Yuge as Her Guru Dakshina

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, actress and classical dancer Sanskruti Balgude opened up about the person who reignited her love for Bharatanatyam. While gurus come into our lives in different forms, Sanskruti revealed that acclaimed Bharatanatyam exponent Parshwanath Upadhye has been her guiding inspiration for the past two and a half years.

The actress shared that it was his artistry, dedication and journey that motivated her to reconnect with the classical dance form, eventually leading to the creation of her dance production, Sambhavami Yuge Yuge.

“A Guru can enter our lives in many forms. Sometimes they are someone we learn from directly, and at other times, they are someone whose artistry, journey, and dedication inspire us from afar. For the past two and a half years, Parshwanath Upadhye has been that guiding force for me.
