“I want people to know me as Rajeev, Not Bhavya” says Bhavya Shinde on embracing his negative role in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye

Actors often push their limits to do justice to their roles, and Bhavya Shinde is no exception. As the menacing Rajeev in Zee TV’s Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, he is thoroughly enjoying his journey as the show’s negative lead. Driven by revenge, Rajeev is determined to kill his ex-wife Nimrit (Aakanksha Pal) and Amruta (Sriti Jha). To bring his sinister schemes to life, Bhavya has seamlessly slipped into more than five distinct disguises—transforming into a woman in a saree, a Parsi man, a waiter, and more. With each new look, he skillfully alters his voice, expressions, and body language, making every avatar unique and unpredictable.

What makes his portrayal even more compelling is the passion he pours into the role. Bhavya has embraced the creative challenge of playing a villain, relishing the opportunity to experiment with Rajeev’s many shades of deception. From meticulous rehearsals to perfecting the nuances of each disguise, his dedication is evident in every scene. With each transformation, he adds more intrigue and danger to Rajeev, making the character both chilling and unforgettable for audiences.

Bhavya Shinde said, “Portraying Rajeev in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye has been an incredibly thrilling experience for me. This negative role has given me the freedom to explore a darker, more complex side of acting, which I find exciting. What makes it even more special is the chance to take on multiple disguises—I’ve portrayed more than five different looks, including a Parsi man, a woman in a saree, and a waiter, among others. Each transformation has been creatively challenging and immensely rewarding. From altering my voice and body language to getting into the finer details of each persona, this role has truly pushed my boundaries as an actor. I want people to know me as Rajeev, not Bhavya Shinde because that’s the impact I hope to leave with my performance. Playing with these shades of deception makes Rajeev’s character unpredictable and keeps the audience on their toes, which is what I love most about this role.”

As Bhavya continues to bring his character to life with striking disguises and unpredictable schemes, viewers are left wondering—will Rajeev succeed in his deadly plan to kill Amruta and Nimrit? Will Virat (Arjit Taneja) be able to save Amruta and Nimrit?
