Farah Khan openly criticises Nikki

Sony Entertainment television’s reality show, Celebrity MasterChef, brings together your favourite stars, as they step out of their comfort zones and into the kitchen to battle for the prestigious title. Hosted by the culinary maestros Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar and the ever-entertaining Farah Khan, this show is packed with high stakes challenges and intense moments.

Nikki Tamboli, who started with much enthusiasm and confidence, finds herself in a tough spot. When Nikki could not complete a dish, Farah Khan did not mince her words to express her disappointment and did not even try her dish. Farah said, “Here I see a lack of effort, Nikki, because you know no one is getting eliminated. I don’t think we should eat this dish. If this was elimination challenge, then we would just look at the dish and you would be out. It’s insulting to present something like this to world class chefs”.

Chef Ranveer points out the seriousness of the competition by adding, “Let this be a lesson that if you get a dish like this then we won’t taste it because there is no effort”. Meanwhile, Nikki reflects on her performance, admitting, “I learnt today that I was excited, but it converted to overconfidence, and then I had a problem with time management.” To this, Farah Khan responds, “I am glad that you have realized this.”
