Is Star Plus Looking To Venture Into The Live Adventure Space Starting With Upcoming Show Jaadu Teri Nazar – Daayan Ka Mausam?

The recent live event for the show Jaadu Teri Nazar—Dayan Ka Mausam was an experience like no other, offering attendees a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step right into the heart of the show’s supernatural world.

During the week of Valentine’s, couples received a mysterious invite on the night of a full moon night. Attendees were summoned to a location in Aarey Colony – an area with several supernatural happenings and spooky myths attached to it. Each couple was allocated a card with mysterious symbols inscribed upon it. On arrival, guests were greeted at the gates by guards, who determined the right timing for the people with the symbols to be called upon. Then the couples entered the universe of Jaadu Teri Nazar – left to their own fate.

On entering this abandoned location laden with mysterious objects the couples were faced with the very real threat of dayans lurking around every corner, out to catch their essence. Quickly realizing that their lives are very much at stake – couples were ushered to the room of the “Professor” played by the lead of the TV show – Zayn Ibad Khan. The Professor offered some solace, by equipping teams with lifelines to ward off the unholy spirits alongside clues on how to defeat the main dayan before the looming kaal sarp grehan. The couples were then released for their quest to reunite three manis in order to defeat the dayan. Next followed a dark and mysterious jungle which needed to be traversed – yet again creatures came in the way, refusing to let couples pass until a riddle was solved. Answer correctly and you were rewarded with the mani you sought, give the wrong answer an a devious punishment followed. The rest of the evening was filled with more such obstacles, including having to source the correct key with the code given by the professor to open a treasure chest with the next mani, feed hungry dayans meals of spaghetti and chipkalis and pass a tantric baba’s complex rangoli hurdle.

Everything is fine as long as you are able to cross the hurdles together – however fear struck the attendees when they realized their better half had been abducted by some of the nefarious creatures that roamed the grounds. The lone partner had to go door to door to find their kidnapped loved one, avoiding more creatures and shock punishments until they could find their partner who was tied up with chotis by the dayans and release them. The final task then awaiting the couple, offering the manis collected to stop the main dayan emerging from the well. With the help of revavanshi Gauri played by the lead heroine of the show Khushi Dubey, couples were guided to pick up a bow and arrow to stop the dayan from crawling out of the well and saving the day.

Successful couples were rewarded and celebrated by being turned into revavanshis (the clan that defeats dayans) and those that were captured were tied up and turned into dayans.

This unique experience was a first for many, to be able to experience the world of a show first-hand. Rumour has it that with the success of this live event, Star Plus is considering venturing into the space of bringing viewers live experience zones across the country – for people to be able to be able to meet their favourite characters in a setting where they feel that they are a real part of the show.
