Jasleen Royal Joins Coldplay for a Special Hindi Version of We Pray

A new version of Coldplay’s hit single We Pray is out today worldwide, featuring a Hindi verse by Indian singer-songwriter Jasleen Royal. This collaboration follows previous versions of the song featuring Little Simz, TINI, and Elyanna.
Jasleen Royal, who opened for Coldplay at their record-breaking stadium shows in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, also performed We Pray live on stage with the band each night.
Expressing her excitement, Jasleen said:
“We Pray is a song of hope, inclusivity, love, and kindness. Being a part of this version with Coldplay is beyond just music – it’s about lifting each other up, breaking barriers, and letting the light in. I love Coldplay and their music, and I’m thrilled to be on this version, which will now live on forever.”
We Pray, a chart-topping hit worldwide, also features UK rapper Little Simz, Afrobeats icon Burna Boy, Palestinian-Chilean R&B sensation Elyanna, and Argentine pop star TINI. The track is part of Coldplay’s latest album, Moon Music, which debuted at No. 1 across multiple global charts, including the US and UK.
Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour has made history as the highest-attended tour ever, selling over 12 million tickets across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The band also won Top Rock Touring Artist at the Billboard Music Awards for the second consecutive year.
In addition, Coldplay continues to focus on sustainability, announcing that their current tour has reduced CO2e emissions by 59% compared to their previous stadium tour in 2016/17, surpassing their original goal of a 50% reduction. More details can be found at sustainability.coldplay.com.
