Daredevil acts and fiery banter take center stage on IBD vs SD: Champions Ka Tashan
Sony Entertainment Television’s India’s Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan, hosted by Haarsh Limbachiyaa, will bring viewers yet another week of exhilarating dance challenges, dramatic banter, and emotional performances. Team Owner Malaika Arora represents India’s Best Dancer, while Geeta Kapur leads the talented prodigies of Super Dancer. The legendary Remo D’Souza helms the judging panel, ensuring fairness in the intense competition. This week, actor and comedian Sanket Bhosale will add his signature wit and gags to the New Year special episode as he impersonates Bollywood icons like Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor, presenting quirky awards such as the “Bak Bak Award” and “Gira Hua Award,” leaving everyone in splits.
The challenges began with Jashn Pe Tashan, where both teams delivered high-energy group performances on tracks like Jashn-e-Ishqa and Apna Time Aayega that led to Malaika Arora exclaim, “Everyone is giving their all, and together, it’s creating a beautiful world of dance. Team India’s Best Dancer, I’m proud to be your owner.”
The second challenge, called Abhi Maza Aayega Na Bhidu saw Team Super Dancer’s talented Tushar & Arshiya battle against Samarpan & Steve from India’s Best Dancer, and Judge Remo was torn between their acts since dance wise – both teams were equal.
A standout moment will be the third challenge, Desi Tadka, which saw Anuradha & Tejas take on Saumya & Akina. Tejas was blindfolded in this act and had everyone on edge with its daredevil stunts, including a planned fall from the stage.
The Mai Thehera Raha Zameen Chalne Lagi challenge saw Rupsa and Debparna perform on a moving floor in which Remo and Geeta had a heated moment when Remo commented on Rupsa’s act needing extra support, sparking intense banter about performance fairness. In the Turup Ka Ikka challenge, Florina & Pari went head-to-head with Vivek & Shivanshu and saw Judge Remo compliment both teams for their concepts.
Next up, Vaibhav and Pari’s heartwarming father-daughter act during the Clash Of Titans challenge was an emotional highlight of the evening. Their depiction of a father’s struggle to find time for his daughter struck a chord with Remo, who related to the story and shared his own experiences as a father, urging views “Main chahta hun yeh act saare bacche, saare parents dekhe.. aur seekhe iss act se.”
The night ended with the Ultimate Tashan round, featuring a fierce battle between Sanchit from Super Dancer and Samarpan from India’s Best Dancer on tracks like Ishaqzaade and Dil Se Re. Both contestants delivered breathtaking performances, leaving the judges and audience in awe.
