I am on top of the world: Hansa Singh on the feedback for Despatch 

Hansa Singh, who is known for her projects like Human and Criminal Justice 3, is currently seen in the Manoj Bajpayee-starrer Despatch. Talking about the feedback she is getting for the movie, she said, “Simply mind-blowing. For an actor to be appreciated by fans and from the fraternity is very heartwarming. I am on top of the world.”

“I am glad to get loads of good words from the industry peeps. That’s very encouraging, as that’s where you want yourself to be seen and appreciated. Some people have made my heart melt with their words. I am here to stay. As abhi to innings shuru hui hai,” she added.

Hansa believes that every project is different. She said, “Hunterrr had a different way to challenge me, and Despatch is totally another level. Being appreciated in both just tells you about me as an actor and my range. But if you see the layers of a character, Despatch has it all, as she is strong, assertive, holding her own, yet somewhere vulnerable knowing the stakes.”

“I am glad I could leave a mark. Doing an important cameo is never easy, as it’s an interesting and important part of the narrative,” she added.

Asked how OTT affects an actor’s approach to storytelling or character development, she said, “OTT gives you pace and space. And then it’s a film, so more time to get it all right. Thank you, the OTT space, for giving actors their worth. And it is more on the storytelling, and that shapes the base of character sketch and building it further.”

“Creativity is all about being at ease. Feel the freedom to express. Seasoned actors make the most of it to make the character interesting and relatable,” Hansa ended.
