“Aarya Babbar on Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah: ‘Proud to Be Part of The Show”

“Aarya Babbar on Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah: ‘Proud to Be Part of The Show”

In today’s world, education is not just a privilege but a fundamental right that should be accessible to all, regardless of their social or economic background. Unfortunately, many marginalized communities still face systemic barriers that prevent them from receiving quality education. One such example is our Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah’s Jagriti (Asmi Deo), who is on a determined mission to break this barrier. Hailing from a community labelled as “criminals” by society, Jagriti’s fight is not only for her own education but the right to education for every member of her Chitta community.

In the show, although Aarya Babbar plays the negative role of Kalikant Thakur, the man, who is doing everything in his power to deliberately block Jagriti’s access to education, in real life he is impressed by the concept and the powerful message that the show is delivering.

Aarya Babar said, “Playing Kalikant in Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah has been an intense experience, especially since the story throws light on a community that are labelled as criminals and are devoid of basic rights. Even though my character is on the opposite side of the fight, I deeply resonate with the show’s message. It’s a story that sheds light on the struggles of marginalized communities, and I’m proud to be part of this show. Jagriti’s journey is inspiring, and I hope it sparks conversations about change.”

While Aarya is grateful to have his part in this movement, it will be interesting for the viewers to watch what will happen when Geeta (Titiksha Shrivastava) gets to know that Jagriti is her daughter. Will she accept her, despite their differences?

To know more, tune in to Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah, every day at 08:30 pm on Zee TV!
