We The Women, India’s most impactful and unique Women’s festival is back for its 7th edition

~Hosted by Barkha Dutt, the event will be held on 22nd November at Sophia College, Mumbai ~

Mumbai, 21st November, 2024: We The Women, the flagship women’s festival curated by the award winning and veteran journalist Barkha Dutt will be inaugurating the brand new 7th edition at Sophia College’s Bhabha Auditorium Mumbai on 22nd November, 2024. Like always, glamour, gravitas and grassroots will come together on the We The Women Stage.

Entry to the festival is free but prior registration is required. The festival will kickstart with its first session at IST 10 am.

The pop culture icons ‘Bollywood Wives’- Shalini Passi, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari and Seema Sajdeh – will be in conversation with Barkha Dutt. Ananya Panday, the 2024 Star of the Year, with her hit series ‘Call me Bae’ will also grace the stage. Sonam Kapoor, just named as Global Ambassador for Dior will be at the event in a keynote conversation. A special spoken word by actor Richa Chadha on women, men and stereotypes.

Rajkummar Rao will speak on his runaway blockbuster ‘Stree’ as ‘Man of the Year’. Renowned Writer Javed Akhtar will speak on ‘Being a Man in a Woman’s World’. Celebrity Influencer Sakshi Sindwani will join a teenage girl from UP, Prachi Nigam on ‘Busting the Beauty Myth’. Anaita Shroff Adajania and Anita Dongre will speak on ‘Fashion, Flair and Freedom’. Nisaba Godrej, Vinita Bali and Sonali Bendre will speak on ‘Leadership on Her Own Terms’. Actor and Bollywood Star Kriti Sanon, who has earned acclaim for her series ‘Do Patti’, will be gracing the stage as the closing speaker.

The festival will also feature serving soldiers of the Indian Army, female airline pilots and a host of grassroots heroines.
