“Jitne sapne dekhe jaate hain unme se zyadatar toot jaate hain!” Raftaar opens up about artists’ struggles in the latest episode of MTV Hustle 4: Hip-Hop Don’t Stop.
Brace yourselves for an electrifying episode of MTV Hustle 4: Hip-Hop Don’t Stop! Squad Boss EPR is dropping a surprise straight outta the EPR Public School. Making a roaring comeback is none other than Panther, the lyrical beast from Season two. Known for hits like Vande Mataram and Bhasad, He’s ready to set the stage ablaze with his latest track for Wildstone – ‘Wild Hai Bro’. With unmatched energy and lyrical finesse, tonight is set to be nothing short of legendary, especially with Imagery as the theme of the night.
Little Bhatia from Dino Dynamites hits the stage, dripping in Bihar charm, with a soulful performance on ‘Bihaari Tere Pyaar Mein Pagal’. The song tells the story of a small-town boy hopelessly in love with a city girl who’s moved away. His heartfelt performance earns him a standing ovation from the judges, sealing his spot as a crowd favorite.
Up next, Siyaahi, the trailblazing hustler from Ahmedabad, takes the spotlight. Known for his boundary-pushing bars, he drops ‘Naaz’ – a tribute to all the hustlers who gave it their all but never made it to the big stage. His powerful bars strike a chord, earning him hugs from everyone around. Raftaar, moved by his powerful act, says, “Bro, pata hai tune woh waali baatein boli hain jo bolna bohot zaruri hai, kyunki jitne sapne dekhe jaate hain unme se zyadatar toot jaate hain!” and adds, “Mujhko naaz hai tujh pe!”
The stage then shifts gears with the rising star from Vile Parle, 99side, takes the stage with a toddu act, ‘Subeh-Subeh’, a high energy track depicting a day in his life . His infectious energy has the judges standing on the table, vibing to his bars. The entire room erupts in celebration, proving once again that 99side is a force to reckon with.
The vibe takes a more intense turn as Naam Sujal steps up, pouring his heart out about the struggles and pain of his educational journey through ‘Blind Spots’. His lyrics leaves everyone in the room teary-eyed. A moved Ikka, blown away by his lyricism, says, “Sujal, I love you Bro. Tera pain dikh raha tha, bohot saare mudhon ko cheda tune aaj; jo ki bohot zaruri hain bolna woh hai student life, ki unpe kitna pressure hain aur khaas kar India mein!” And further wishes to write and perform like him!
Lastly, K!llSwitch takes center stage with a soulful twist, sharing his journey from childhood to crafting rhymes through his track ‘Paper Plane’. His powerful verses and smooth flow have everyone grooving. Judge Raftaar, impressed by his sharp rhyme scheme and delivery, pulls him in for a hug. Squad Boss Dino James, feeling the vibe, is reminded of Post Malone’s Sunflower.
But not all Hustlers could find their rhythm tonight. Both MadTrip and Pho struggled with the theme of Imagery, leaving their performances feeling disconnected and failing to impress the judges.
The night ends on a bittersweet note as the Performer Squad of the Week is announced, followed by the dreaded Battle Verse, where the bottom contestants fight for their survival. With emotions running high, the season’s latest elimination brings both tears and resolve, reminding everyone that the hustle never stops.
Don’t miss out on who will make it into the battle verse and who will bid farewell in MTV Hustle 4: Hip-Hop Don’t Stop every Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 pm on MTV and JioCinema!
