This Diwali, what if your favourite toons took over the festive preparations? Find out!
Diwali, the festival of lights and prosperity, is right around the corner, and it’s time to start preparing for the grand celebration. From cleaning every nook and cranny to decorating the house with bright colours and, of course, enjoying mouth-watering sweets and lighting up the sky with fireworks, Diwali is all about joy, togetherness, and fun. But what if your favourite Sony YAY! toons were in charge of getting everything ready? Imagine how chaotic—and hilarious—it would be. Here’s how your favourite toons would handle Diwali prep, adding their special touch (or mischief!) to make the festivities truly memorable:
Shin chan – The master of decorations
If there’s one toon who knows how to make things colourful and exciting, it’s Shin chan. You can bet he’d have a blast decorating the house, but not without adding his mischievous twist. While you’d think he’d be hanging up lanterns and diyas, Shin chan might get distracted and end up putting toran in unexpected places (maybe even on you and his dog Shiro!). Who knows, maybe he’ll even sneak in some pranks in the name of helping.
Oggy – The cleaner keeping the cockroaches at bay
When it comes to cleaning the house for Diwali, Oggy is the toon for the job—well, sort of. He’s all about keeping things spotless, but those pesky cockroaches, are always around to mess things up. Oggy will be on high alert, vacuum in one hand and a mop in the other, chasing after the roaches while trying to make sure the house is sparkling clean.
Naruto – The ninja of fireworks
Fireworks are one of the best parts of Diwali, and who better to handle them than Naruto? This ninja is always up for some action and excitement, so you can count on him to set off the most dazzling fireworks display. With his quick reflexes and ninja skills, Naruto will be zooming around, lighting firecrackers left and right, making sure the sky lights up with a bang.
Obocchama – The troublemaker in charge of mithai
Diwali isn’t complete without mithai, and Obocchama is the perfect toon to handle this part of the preparation—if he doesn’t eat all the mithai first. Known for his love of all things sweet, Obocchama will ensure the laddoos, barfis, and kaju katlis are ready for the celebration. But with his insatiable sweet tooth, it’s a race against time to stop him from gobbling them up before the guests arrive. Expect him to sneak a bite (or ten) while he tries to ‘taste test’ every dish.
