Held at the prestigious Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium in Sion, the event was a heartfelt tribute to the golden era of Bollywood, blending music, nostalgia, and stories that have shaped Indian cinema.

Saregama Carvaan, known for bringing retro music into homes across the country, has now extended that experience to live stages with Carvaan LIVE. And Yeh Shaam Mastani was the perfect way to kick off this exciting new chapter, bringing together timeless melodies, retro music, and personal stories from the legend herself, Zeenat Aman.

From the moment Zeenat Aman stepped on stage, the audience was absorbed in her anecdotes about her journey through some of her most iconic films like Manoranjan, Don, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, and Qurbani. Hearing her talk about the challenges and excitement of bringing these characters to life, by the legend Zeenat Aman herself, was nothing short of fascinating.

Hearing about her experiences with directors like Raj Kapoor and Feroz Khan was a treat, as she described herself as always being a director’s actor. There were also candid moments about her chemistry with co-stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, along with some fun behind-the-scenes stories of on-set rivalries. Miss Aman didn’t shy away from the tougher parts of her journey either—navigating the politics of the industry, while still staying true to herself.
