Bollywood comes together to celebrate the first look of director Nikkhil Advani’s passion project, “Freedom at Midnight.”

Sony LIV announced the lead cast of their upcoming show, “Freedom at Midnight,” with Sidhant Gupta portraying Jawaharlal Nehru, Chirag Vohra as Mahatma Gandhi, and Rajendra Chawla as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Celebrities such as Abhishek Bachchan, Bhumi Pednekar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Kunal Kapoor, Ira Dubey, and others joined in celebrating Nikkhil Advani’s project by commenting on his Instagram post.

Adapted from the renowned book by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins, “Freedom at Midnight” is produced by Emmay Entertainment (Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani) in association with StudioNext and Sony LIV. Nikkhil Advani serves as the showrunner and director, with the story written by Abhinandan Gupta, Adwitiya Kareng Das, Gundeep Kaur, Divya Nidhi Sharma, Revanta Sarabhai, and Ethan Taylor.
