Here’s what Zee TV actors have to say about refraining from using plastic bags for a sustainable future

Nikki Sharma, who essays the role of Shakti in Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya ShivShakti said, “I strongly believe in the power of small actions to create a big impact. As an actor, I strive to spread awareness about using Paper Bags. By choosing paper bags and other environmental friendly products over plastic bags, we can make a significant difference in reducing pollution and protecting our ecosystems. Let our actions speak volumes as we choose biodegradable alternatives and pave the way for a sustainable future. Let’s inspire others to embrace sustainable choices and be mindful of the materials we use. Together, we can make a lasting change and create a brighter, greener future for generations to come.”

Ashi Singh, who essays the role of Sumeet in Zee TV’s Meet said, “I believe refraining from using plastic bags and opting for paper bags is a commendable step towards reducing plastic waste and its detrimental effects on the environment. As a television actor, I believe it is crucial to influence and promote sustainable practices and raise awareness about environmental issues. In fact, encouraging society to carry reusable bags, such as cloth or jute bags, when shopping is another effective way to reduce our reliance on plastic. By advocating for the use of paper bags and discussing the harmful impacts of plastic bags, we can inspire positive change and encourage individuals to adopt this good habit which is beneficial for nature. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in preserving our planet for future generations.”

Aishwarya Khare who essays the role of Lakshmi in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi said, “On World Paper Day, let us celebrate the power of words while embracing a greener future. As we all know, plastic bags have become a global environmental concern due to their non-biodegradable material. By opting for paper bags, we actively contribute to reducing plastic pollution. For quite a few years, I have been trying to avoid the use of plastic bags and have switched to paper or cloth bags. We become advocates for sustainable living by choosing paper bags or any other material over plastic material products. And not just bags, even water bottles, and other things we use in our day-to-day lives shouldn’t be made of plastic. If we all take one step towards these changes, we can surely make a contribution towards better living and sustaining our environment. So this World Paper Day let’s choose paper over plastic!”

Neeharika Roy who essays the role of Radha in Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan mentioned, “We all know plastic bags are extremely harmful to the environment and I believe people need to be informed and educated about the dangerous side effects of plastic bags. According to me, a small step can bring a huge change in society, so I have decided to do my bit and use paper bags instead of plastic bags. In fact, I really appreciate that the food deliveries are made in paper bags and shopping bags given by brands are also made of paper, it took a while, but we are getting there. Just keep doing your bit for the environment.”
