On International Tea Day Yami Gautam talks about her love for tapri-wali chai!

A true Himachali by heart, Yami Gautam has always been a tea-lover considering how her home-state is known from its Kangra variant of tea – However, after coming to Mumbai, the tapri-wali chai seems to have grown on the actress, who always has a craving for it.

As the world celebrates International Tea Day today, Yami Gautam recounts how the quintessential tapir-walli chai from the street vendors caught her attention when she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.

In an interview with a leading publication Yami Gautam shared, “When you are new to the city, there is no way that a chai lover will not notice the tapri wali chai. I absolutely love it. I always crave for it, and my team knows that they have to get me the tapri wali chai whenever I am shooting in the city.”
