“I believe you can overcome your fears only by facing them”, says Karanvir Sharma as he performed a daredevil stunt in Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua

Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua has made its way into the hearts of the audience with its differentiated narrative about a woman questioning her husband’s request for a second marriage to another woman he’s fallen in love with. In the recent episodes, viewers witnessed how Ghazal (Richa Rathore) has revealed the truth behind her mother’s death and blackmails Haider (Karanvir Sharma) to marry her or she will commit suicide by jumping off a cliff. Although Haider has managed to save Ghazal from falling off the cliff, it was a difficult scene to shoot for Karanvir, because he has a fear of heights.

Being an actor comes with loads of challenges and most actors try to face them to overcome it. One such recent example was when actor Karanvir Sharma faced his fear of heights, altophobia, by performing a stunt all by himself for a sequence. Despite of being nervous and scared, he decided to face his fear and perform the difficult scene of being on the edge of a cliff. The team took all the necessary precautions to ensure safety keeping Karanvir’s situation in mind.

Talking about his experience, Karanvir mentioned, “I believe you can overcome your fears only by facing them and that is why I decided to perform this stunt on my own despite having altophobia. I am really afraid of heights and never thought I would be able to perform such stunts. When I got the opportunity, I didn’t want to miss out on it and decided to face my fear. Being on that cliff for 3-4 hours was one of the most difficult times of my life and only I know how I was feeling. Nevertheless, it was an experience that I will never forget, and I can finally say I have faced and have overcome my fear.”
